CMA US – Certified Management Accountant
The Institute of Management Accountants, or IMA, is committed to excellence in the field of management accounting. In 1972, the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) title was created to offer an impartial assessment of a person’s proficiency and expertise in management accounting. The special skills needed to succeed in the demanding management accounting fields are only acknowledged by the CMA program.
The CMA program was created to address the changing demands of business, both now and in the future. Your competence in your chosen sector and your commitment to both professional and personal development will be validated by this certification.
To be eligible for CMA certification, a student must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Candidates for the CMA certification must complete two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting and/or financial management.
- Candidates for CMA certification must complete part 1 and part 2 examinations.
- Active membership in IMA
